About us
Ten years ago, after running a postal manuscript critique service for two years, I decided to start Liberato weekend courses so that a small group of writers could spend time concentrating on writing in general and their own writing in particular. The success of these is measured by the fact that Old Libs have become firm friends, and even come back for more!
Each course concentrates on the basics of good creative writing - characterisation, plotting, structure, dialogue, theme, etc - but no two courses are ever the same because each and every writer has something different to offer. So, if you're struggling with that novel or amassing rejection slips for your short stories, give Liberato a try - either through a postal critique, the mentoring service or a Polstead weekend.
